What PCs can this run on?
Memory Matters will run on all Microsoft Windows operating systems from Windows 98 with Internet Explorer 6. You will need at least 10 MB of hard disk available and we recommend a minimum of 64 MB of RAM.
How do I install once I have downloaded?
Open the zip file and run Setup.exe (double-click on it). Then follow the installer on-screen instructions to complete installation.
Can I change the image on the main menu?
Yes. Create an image 340 pixels wide by 440 pixels high and save it as 'MemoryMatters.JPG' in the folder PROGRAMFILES\MemoryMatters\Styles.
Where are the memories saved?
Memory matters uses a SQLLite database to store all the data. The default database after installation is memorymatters.db and can be found in the memory matters databases directory.
Can I change the styles used when displaying memories?
Yes. The report and preview window use the stylesheet report.css and the add/edit memory window uses default.css. Both files can be found in the styles subdirectory. You can customise these as desired.
Can I have multiple databases?
Yes, you can create as many databases as you like either by using the backup function or simply copying the database files. Use the options screen to select the database you want to use.
